What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead technical discovery sessions with federal customers to assess mission needs and define solution requirements
Architect IT solutions across compute, storage, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms in alignment with government standards
Collaborate with sales executives to develop winning proposals, including technical designs and compliance documentation
Serve as the technical liaison between the employer, OEMs, and federal customers throughout the pre‑sales process
Prepare and deliver solution briefings and technical demonstrations to diverse audiences
What is Required (Qualifications)
5+ years of experience in pre‑sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting in the federal market
In‑depth knowledge of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies
Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and compliance frameworks
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business outcomes
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Active technical certifications (e.g., CCNP, VCP, AWS Solutions Architect, Security+)
Experience working with or within VARs, systems integrators, or OEMs supporting government agencies
Proficient in creating technical diagrams and solution documentation
