Web Development (Back-end) Volunteer Work with the Web Development Team to build a user‑friendly, visually appealing, and high‑performance website. Collaborate with UI/UX and front‑end developers to ensure the site is functional and accessible across all platforms. Responsibilities & Qualifications Build and maintain web pages, integrating UI elements from front‑end developers. Implement data storage solutions and optimize site performance. Develop code that handles data processing and core website functionality. Ensure accessibility across desktop and mobile platforms. Test and debug issues that arise. Qualifications Advanced administrative and analytical skills. Proficient in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, or PHP. Experience with database management (e.g., MySQL). Prior experience in web development. Familiarity with website building platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, etc.) preferred. Knowledge of Figma preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. Outstanding organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail. Required to submit an online portfolio or links (Drive, GitHub, personal website) to relevant projects. Requirements Age minimum (adult): 18+; minimum age: 18+.
