Web Development (Back-end) volunteer will work with the Web Development Team to build a website with user-friendly visual designs and optimized performance. They will collaborate with the team (UI/UX, front-end) to ensure the website is functional and accessible on all platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform diverse, advanced, and confidential functions including building and maintaining web pages, integrating UI elements from front-end developer, implementing data storage solutions, and optimizing site performance. Develop code that handles data processing, website functionality, and more. Ensure website accessibility across desktop and mobile platforms. Test and fix any bugs that may arise. QUALIFICATIONS Advanced administrative and analytical skills. Thorough knowledge of a variety of software programs. Experience in languages like Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, or PHP required. Experience with database management (MySQL, etc.). Experience with website building platforms like Wordpress, Webflow, Squarespace, etc. preferred. Required experience in web development. Familiarity with Figma preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. Outstanding organizational and time management skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. Required to apply with online portfolio or link (Drive, Github, website) to previous relevant projects.
