LHH is seeking a
TEMPORARY
Cash Analyst for our client in Westchester County, NY for 6+ months. This position is Hybrid and WFH and on site Monday – Friday 8:30 am‑5:30 pm. Training will be ONSITE for 4‑8 weeks and then Hybrid. Candidates located in the NY metro area should only apply. The Cash Analyst function is responsible for booking and allocating cash in the sub‑ledger system of record, maintaining the Cashbook bank reconciliations, and assisting with aged debt reporting by contacting brokers for collection of past‑due premiums and any ad‑hoc project requests.
Responsibilities
Help ensure daily cash is allocated on the same day it was received.
Develop strong relationships with brokers to facilitate timely and accurate cash receipts and disbursements.
Achieve a qualitative and granular understanding of accounts and reported balances.
Support development, maintenance, and distribution of concise and accurate balance reporting.
Qualifications
3+ years of Accounts Receivable and Cash Accounting experience.
Advanced Excel – pivot tables, VLOOKUPs.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; candidates with Economics, Math, or General Business Management will also be considered.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary is $27‑$33 /hr DOE.
