Job Description
Oversees the recovery process, including follow-up with patients who are non-admitted, discharged, or have revoked the Hospice Medicare Benefit, and ensures tracking and monitoring of changes for future hospice needs.
Maintains knowledge and communicates policies and procedures required to comply with federal, state, and local guidelines, as well as Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance reimbursement requirements.
Provides overall direction of operations related to admissions and referrals. Develops, revises, and implements schedules for admission nurses to ensure staff availability.
Reviews nursing documentation and charting to ensure it is timely, accurate, and complete, and communicates with the Health Information Management Department to update incomplete documentation.
Accompanies staff periodically to evaluate performance and knowledge, providing expertise and guidance to improve skills.
Qualifications
Associate's of Nursing (Required)
Bachelor's of Nursing
Driver's License (DL) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range: $68,132.50 - $119,520.35
