A sweet young family in Venice, CA, is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their four-month-old child. The schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday, 10-12 hours per day, with flexibility for overnights or travel as needed. The family is open to live-in or live-out, and the accommodations will be a separate guest house on the property. Responsibilities
All aspects of childcare for the child, including managing sleep and feeding schedules Handling baby laundry and maintaining organization of the baby's spaces Keeping on top of baby supplies, and making necessary purchases Creating an engaging environment and providing developmentally appropriate enrichment daily Researching classes and making sure the baby gets out for social and educational outings Packing for travel and planning outings in all locations Qualifications
Comfortable working with involved parents, and with full-charge care as needed Warm and nurturing Flexible and organized-able to keep structure while going with the flow in a dynamic environment Educated and sophisticated; focused on childhood development and fostering diverse interests and skills Thoughtful and proactive Engaging with children Strong leadership and communication skills Desire for a long-term position Requirements
Recent experience with infant and toddler-aged children The ability to swim and supervise children in the pool and ocean Experience working with a staff Ability/willingness to travel domestically and internationally multiple times per year for extended periods Previous travel experience with families Driver's license and clean driving record Salary and Benefits
$35-40/hr. DOE Full benefits, including PTO and medical insurance
