Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures in governmental accounting and budgeting, the Uniform Accounting System, and financial organization and procedures in the state of California and related laws, rules, and regulations. Ability to apply accounting principles and procedures. Ability to analyze data and draw sound conclusions. Ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action. Ability to analyze complex accounting data. Excellent organizational skills and establish workload priorities. Experience in FI$Cal or other accounting systems. Demonstrate flexibility in response to changing workload. Experience providing clear, complete, and concise reports. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations regarding accounting problems. Ability to work effectively independently and cooperatively with others. Strong analytical and research skills.
