Auto Adjuster – National General
National General is part of The Allstate Corporation, offering a range of insurance products. The Auto Adjuster will investigate and confirm the facts of loss for automobile accidents, determine coverage, liability, damages, and negotiate settlements within authority limits.
Key Responsibilities
Managing auto claims arising from vehicle collisions by investigating and validating facts of loss.
Determining coverage, assessing liability and damages, and negotiating claim settlements.
Partnering with fraud/subrogation representatives on relevant claims.
Recognizing vehicle body parts and identifying potential property damage.
Identifying customer needs and applying appropriate customer service skills.
Handling investigation of all aspects of auto claims with discretion and independence.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience (preferred).
Compensation Base compensation ranges based on role level:
- Auto Adjuster Analyst III: $50,000–$65,300
- Auto Adjuster Commission I: $50,000–$74,120
- Auto Adjuster Commission II: $56,000–$82,500
Compensation may include incentive pay (commission, bonus, etc.) based on performance.
