Job Description
Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for basic to advanced automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority.
** We are seeking an Auto Adjuster to join our growing team! In this role, you will manage auto claims arising from vehicle collisions by investigating and validating the facts of loss for automobile accidents. You will be responsible for determining coverage, assessing liability and damages, and negotiating claim settlements. This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional rotating Saturday coverage. We are open to candidates in the Eastern or Central time zone states. **
Key Responsibilities
Partner with assigned reps for fraud or subrogation to achieve best outcome.
Recognize and identify body parts of a vehicle and understanding of other potential property damage.
Identify customer needs and work to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills.
Determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle.
Apply intermediate understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department.
Handle investigation regarding all aspects of auto claims (coverage, damages, subrogation) with discretion and independence within increased level of authority.
Experience
2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties.
Compensation Base compensation offered for this role is:
Auto Adjuster Analyst III: $50,000 - $65,300
Auto Adjuster Cons I: $50,000 - $74,120
Auto Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $82,500
And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
