Bowldogs is seeking talented Line Cooks to join our team at our new family entertainment center in North Liberty. As a Line Cook at Bowldogs, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals. Daily Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Cook food items by grilling, frying, and other cooking methods Ensure proper plate presentation and food preparation Work with a variety of fresh, from scratch ingredients every day Manage kitchen operations to maintain food quality and safety standards Monitor portion control and food waste to maximize efficiency Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces Other duties as assigned Required Skills: Must be 18 years of age or older 6 months of line cook experience preferred Experience with knives and other kitchen equipment Ability to work with dietary restrictions and special requests must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 40 pounds at a time Nice to Have Skills: Catering and event coordinating experience Knowledge of baking techniques and baked goods Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special dietary needs Pay: $15-$22 an hour based on experience Benefits: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance and Vision Insurance Paid time off for full-time employees Discounts on food and merchandise Free bowling and hatchet play Employee parties and activities Company Information: We are a new family entertainment center in the North Liberty area. We will offer 16 lanes of bowling, axe throwing, a large arcade center, food and drinks, and a mezzanine with pool and darts. Our menu will consist mostly of share style items, with various other solo plates like burgers and sandwiches, salads, deserts and more.
