Position Description
Summary: The EEP Processor is responsible managing a loan pipeline, gathering all required documents and ensuring completion through closing.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Review and verify the loan application and associated documents for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all loan documentation complies with current internal lending and agency guidelines.
Work closely with correspondent lenders, Account Executives, Underwriters, Closers, and Title Companies to gather and clarify documentation.
Input and update loan information into the loan origination system and associated tracking sheets.
Communicate clearly and proactively with correspondent lenders throughout the loan process.
Identify and resolve processing issues or documentation discrepancies.
Prepare and submit loan files to underwriting in a timely and efficient manner.
Monitor and manage pipeline to meet closing deadlines.
Stay updated on mortgage industry guidelines, company policies, and compliance requirements.
Performance Measurements
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products and agency guidelines.
Proficiency in loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience 2+ years of experience processing Conventional and FHA mortgage loans is required. Experience processing non-QM and FHA manually underwritten loans is preferred.
Education A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
This position is bonus eligible.
