Job Title: Junior IT Systems Administrator
Location:
Metro Washington, D.C. and some work from OBAN’s Regional Office in Oxon Hill, MD and OBAN’s Regional Office in Vienna, VA.
Position Overview The OBAN Corporation is seeking a motivated Junior IT Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing essential first‑level IT support, managing IT assets, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will be a tech‑savvy individual with excellent communication skills, ready to handle a variety of IT tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide 1st level IT Support to employees (onsite/remote)
Monitor IT inventory, procure and manage IT assets
Perform onboardings/offboarding of employees
Responsible for user management in IT systems/tools
Create and maintain IT documentation
Conduct internal trainings on IT‑related topics
Assist on configurations/implementations in IT systems/tools
Education and Skills Requirements
Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills
Tech‑savvy, comfortable with modern office productivity tools
Pleasant and patient communicator
Self‑motivated with a career drive in a tech startup
Computer science‑oriented education or tech background
Positive, problem‑solving attitude
Bonus: College/university degree, tech support experience, familiarity with the Apple ecosystem, cloud systems administration experience
