Engagement & Recruitment
team in ZS’
Drug Development Excellence
practice, supporting sponsors in improving patient and site engagement and accelerating trial recruitment.
What You’ll Do
Leverage problem‑solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions to clients’ business problems around clinical trial recruitment and engagement.
Assist in structuring and conducting qualitative and quantitative market research and/or desk research with patients, primary investigators, site staff, and more to derive insights and contribute to client decision making.
Design custom analyses using tools such as Excel, Access, Confirmit, and ZS’s proprietary software.
Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations.
Plan and facilitate virtual and in‑person strategy workshops and co‑creation sessions with external stakeholders and clients.
Develop client relationships and serve as a key point of contact on certain aspects of projects.
Actively support management of the program plan and conduct regular status updates with the client – risk and issue mitigation. Assist in driving the project forward to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
Tackle unstructured problems by untangling client issues, finding the right problems to solve for, and developing or co‑creating innovative solutions.
Mentor and support development of Associates on your projects and teams.
What You’ll Bring
PhD or Master’s with a bachelor’s degree in a field that includes quantitative and qualitative coursework such as business, economics, marketing, psychology, life sciences, or social sciences. In lieu of a PhD, 2‑5 years of relevant post‑study professional experience will be considered.
High motivation, good work ethic, maturity, and personal initiative.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Passion for understanding people and generating powerful insights.
Empathy, adaptability, and high personal impact.
Strong attention to detail with a quality‑focused mindset.
Knowledge of drug development, clinical trial operations, and study recruitment barriers and challenges – or a willingness to learn and dive deep into this area.
