Role Overview The HR Generalist provides onsite HR support for the Palmer, MA facility and offers periodic HR support to the Pipersville, PA location as needed. This role partners closely with the onsite HR Manager and site operational leadership to deliver core HR services in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, HR operations, and compliance.

Travel to Pipersville, PA as needed for HR support, training, or employee relations activities
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and supervisors for questions, policy interpretation, and issue resolution.
Support the HR Manager with employee relations investigations, documentation, and follow up.
Advise supervisors on consistent application of policies, performance expectations, and corrective action.
Manage hourly recruiting and support salaried hiring for the Palmer site.
Partner with hiring managers on staffing needs, postings, sourcing, and selection.
Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and benefits overview for new hires.
Maintain HR transactions, employee files, and compliance documentation.
Maintain HR metrics including turnover, hiring activity, and leaves of absence.
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws in MA and PA.
Assist with OSHA recordkeeping coordination with Safety/HSE as applicable.
Support HR reporting, audits, and routine HR reviews.
Support site culture initiatives, HR programs, roundtables, and training sessions.
Provide coaching to supervisors on communication, feedback, and performance processes.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to strengthen HR processes and standard work.
Provide periodic HR support to the Pipersville, PA site via remote and onsite visits.
Critical Competencies for Success
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience supporting a manufacturing or operations environment.
Strong generalist background with experience in recruiting, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration.
Ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and partner effectively with employees and supervisors.
Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently within defined guidelines.
Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws; experience with MA or PA regulations is a plus.
Customer service mindset and a continuous improvement orientation.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, growth oriented, and time sensitive environment.
Within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
