Base Pay Range $58,100.00/yr - $76,112.00/yr
The New York State Court System Office of Court Administration, Division of Financial Management is recruiting for three (3) positions in the
Analyst Series . These positions will be filled in one of the following titles and will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicant selected:
Senior Court Analyst, Court Analyst or Assistant Court Analyst.
This position plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of a centralized revenue unit. The incumbent ensures the accurate monitoring, reconciliation, and processing of revenue while providing critical support to fiscal and court staff.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and reconcile daily activity for over 300 centralized bank accounts.
Support the timely and accurate processing of revenue and resolve discrepancies.
Respond to inquiries from district fiscal offices and court staff.
Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Work collaboratively within the unit and with the Division of Technology (DoT) to support UCMS cashiering and eFiling applications.
Communicate with the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) and banking institutions regarding account setup, maintenance, and issue resolution.
Perform bank account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
Use the NYS Statewide Financial System (SFS) and Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting.
Provide general office support, including handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Qualifications Senior Court Analyst:
One year in the Court Analyst title; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Court Analyst:
One year in the Assistant Court Analyst title; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Assistant Court Analyst:
One year in the Junior Court Analyst title; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; or High School diploma or the equivalent and four (4) years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preference will be given to applicants with working knowledge of complex bank account reconciliations, the NYS Statewide Financial System, and Microsoft Excel.
