Collecting laboratory specimens and performing EKG’s on patients treated in the outpatient setting, including off site locations and nursing homes. Collecting laboratory specimens from hospital inpatients. Patients range in age from newborn through older adult. Assists with responsibilities in the operation of the department and provides technical expertise to staff under the general supervision of the phlebotomy supervisor. Experience Required
3 years experience in phlebotomy/EKG is preferred. Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Medical assistant and/or formal phlebotomy training and/or equivalent experience in lieu of education preferred. License/Certification Requirements
Certificate from Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant program preferred. PBT (ASCP) certification highly desirable. Special Requirements
Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English). This position requires travel to other sites; access to transportation is required. Salary Min ($) USD $20.00 Salary Max ($) USD $31.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
