6am-4:30pm Job Responsibilities and Duties
Use tools to make, repair, and assemble parts and products. Interpret diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal and written instructions. Cut raw materials needed for completion of the job. Follow directions given to work as a team. Have full knowledge of all PPE gear required by MJC for the department. Identify necessary components needed for completion of the job. Assemble various products, per training guidelines. Complete each job by finishing with an internal inspection of the assembly. Maintain a SAFE and CLEAN working environment. Skills and Qualifications
High school education or equivalent experience. Ability to operate essential hand tools (i.e., hammer, screwdriver, tape measure, pliers, drill, etc.). Attention to detail. Good communication skills. Ability to identify parts from drawings provided. Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to read a tape measure and use the decimal system. Willing to perform repetitive tasks while remaining stationary for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
