CuraLinc Healthcare is a growing company that is seeking EAP Care Advocates for a full-time remote role. Care Advocates provide in-the-moment telephonic and digital support, as well as personalized guidance and advocacy to program participants at all stages of their mental health care journey. The EAP Care Advocate position is an ideal role for clinicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about supporting employee mental health, removing barriers to care and driving positive clinical and workplace outcomes for a rapidly growing organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide Guidance, Support, Consultation and Referrals to Covered Employees and Dependents
Conduct a Comprehensive Clinical Assessment, Including Identification of Presenting Issues(s), Work-Life Challenges and Screening for Risk and Safety Concerns
Develop an Individualized Care Plan to Address the Unique Clinical and Sub-Clinical Needs for Each Participant
Facilitate Referrals and Assist Participants with Securing Appointments for Short-Term EAP Counseling
Provide Mental Health Advocacy and Navigation to Participants in Need of Higher Levels of Care
Assist with Referrals to Other Employer-Sponsored Health Management Resources, When Appropriate
Conduct Active Case Management Including Treatment Plan Reviews
Perform Timely Follow-Up with Participants to Ensure Connection to Care, Program Satisfaction and Determine the Outcome and Impact of EAP Services
Maintain Accurate and Complete Records in Compliance with HIPAA, Ethical and Departmental Guidelines
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in a Mental Health Discipline (e.g. Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)
Relevant Post-Graduate Clinical Experience
Clinical Licensure
This Position Involves Working with Individuals Facing a Wide Range of Emotional and Psychological Concerns. Work Can Be Emotionally Intense and Requires a Strong Capacity for Empathy, Emotional Regulation, and Consistent Self-Care
Familiarity and Comfort with Technology to Train and Work Remotely (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Contact Management Systems, Web-Based Software, Soft Phone)
Strong Reasoning Ability – Capacity to Collect Data, Establish Facts, Define Problems and Draw Valid Conclusions
Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced, Fully Remote Work Environment
Prior EAP and/or Case Management Experience a Plus
