POSITION SUMMARY Performs technical and administrative tasks at the direction of the Manager Quality Assurance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Technical Publications Specialist acts as an assistant to the Manager Quality Assurance.

Maintains and makes available a current library of maintenance manuals, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, FAA regulations, and standard operating procedures.

Prepares documents and other information for submission to the FAA.

Analyzes and interprets quality data in order to develop, methods, procedures, and systems to improve all quality functions.

Performs special assignments and projects, as directed by the Manager Quality Assurance.

Properly certificated in accordance with FAR 65, Subpart D.

Actively participates in company directed continuous improvement initiatives and activities.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education:

High School Diploma, BS Degree in Aviation preferred

A&P License

Experience:

AS9100 / ISO 9001 / CASE-1A familiarization a plus

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe

Generally, 5-8 years’ experience as an aircraft inspector

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of safety and operating procedures for power‑on aircraft

Ability to understand procedures, acting in problem solving, suggesting improvements.

Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements

Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.

Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
