Overview
We are seeking a
Radiologic Technologist I , internally referred to as our Radiology Tech I. The Rad Tech I will perform diagnostic X‑ray procedures, operating X‑ray equipment to capture images of patients’ internal structures for diagnostic purposes. This role is vital for assisting healthcare providers by producing high‑quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients. The position is on a per diem basis (PD/PRN) as needed.

Responsibilities
Ensure X‑ray equipment functions properly and images meet quality standards, performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.
Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during examinations.
Maintain accurate records of X‑ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history.
Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.
Operate radiographic equipment to produce high‑quality images.
Maintain BCLS accreditation by the American Heart Association (AHA) and register status with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Qualifications
Licensure as required by state.
Appropriate national certifications in one modality.
Current BLS (AHA).
Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient computer skills.
Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus
One year of acute clinical radiography experience.
