Company Overview American Family Care (AFC) is one of the largest primary and urgent care companies in the U.S. providing services seven days a week on a walk-in basis. Our state‑of‑the‑art centers focus on acute illnesses and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine. Each location is equipped with an onsite lab and in‑house x‑ray capability.
AFC is the parent company of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF). This position works directly with a franchised business location, so job duties and benefits may vary by franchise.
Job Summary Sell and market urgent care medical services to local businesses, physicians, and consumers. The main focus is to grow day‑to‑day patient counts, increase the number of local businesses using our services, and brand American Family Care to consumers through marketing and sales events.
Responsibilities
Increase the total number of patients per day.
Develop strategies to increase market awareness of urgent care and occupational health services in the local area.
Define target markets, business opportunities, and customers through data mining, research, and experience.
Represent the company through calling on local businesses, medical practices, presentations, or industry events and assume full accountability for the ongoing management of these opportunities.
Develop and manage the departmental budget.
Establish and maintain effective, positive working relationships with all departments, center, and corporate employees, and franchisees.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or relevant education.
Successful experience developing, implementing, and achieving results with sales and marketing strategies.
Ability to conduct face‑to‑face sales appointments, cold and warm calling, including but not limited to direct‑to‑consumer, business, and physicians.
Strong organization and communication skills.
Independent, motivated, and results‑driven in establishing new business and ensuring accountability for business growth.
Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
