Our Healthcare client, based in Ohio, is transitioning their credentialing system from Cactus to MDStaff and is looking to hire an analyst that will be able to assist with this transition and then be hired full time to help manage the new platform.
Qualifications:
Credentialing Process and Software expertise
The analyst must have a solid background in provider credentialing processes. This includes:
Familiarity with legacy systems like Cactus (Visual and Web) and the nuances of credentialing workflows.
Have hands‑on experience with MDStaff or similar credentialing platforms.
Be capable of supporting data migration, mapping, and cleanup efforts from Cactus to MDStaff.
Understanding of credentialing data structures, including privileges, FPPE/OPPE, and provider lifecycle management.
Awareness of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, PHI handling).
Technical and Analytical Skills
Ability to work with data exports, identify discrepancies, and support data normalization across entities.
Familiarity with integration points (e.g., Epic, Workday, SailPoint) and how MDStaff interfaces with these systems.
Comfort with vendor coordination and understanding of implementation timelines and dependencies.
Project Implementation Experience
Experience supporting phased rollouts of enterprise systems.
Ability to participate in discovery, scope definition, and timeline planning.
Familiarity with project governance, including PRB approvals, demand tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
Soft Skills and Organizational Fit
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with IT, MSO/CVO, and vendor teams.
Proactive in identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies (e.g., Access database dependencies, offshore support limitations).
Willingness to engage in long‑term planning, including Epic’s future credentialing roadmap.
