Radiologic Technologist
Concentra is looking for a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our patient care team. Up to $5,000 sign‑on bonus available. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and supporting the mission to improve the health of America’s workforce.
Overview As a Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist, you will perform routine x‑ray examinations, support other areas of the facility, and ensure high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities Radiologic Technologist Duties
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escort them to dressing and x‑ray rooms, provide instructions, and assist with positioning.
Operate radiologic equipment to produce images, adjusting controls to meet exposure specifications.
Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to safeguard patients and staff.
Report equipment malfunctions to Center Operations Director.
Follow all radiology workflows and ensure accurate EMR documentation.
Complete required documentation for each x‑ray visit.
Maintain x‑ray equipment, including calibration and QA/QC, in accordance with policy and procedures.
Medical Assistant Duties
Perform DOT and Non‑DOT drug and alcohol testing.
Take vital signs and perform ancillary testing such as vaccines, injections, phlebotomy, PFTs, audiograms, and respirator fit testing.
Conduct rapid screening tests for influenza, strep, mono, glucose, etc.
Assist providers during examination and treatment.
Perform routine medical procedures and triage emergent patients as needed.
Prepare and assist clinicians with procedure setup and injury care.
Apply bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered.
Dispense medications and DME in compliance with state regulations.
Complete quality assurance activities on equipment and medical devices.
Maintain supplies, clean rooms and equipment, and stock exam rooms.
Operate all medical devices, including calibration and record keeping.
Notify supervisor of equipment issues or supply needs.
Assist with patient flow and volume in partnership with center leadership.
Keep patients informed of expected wait times.
Perform clerical tasks in front and back office for record keeping.
Ensure accuracy in documentation.
Practice HIPAA guidelines and safety rules.
Attend staff meetings or huddles as required.
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly facility appearance.
Complete applicable training, including monthly clinical competency training.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology with state certification.
Active ARRT certification.
CPR/First Aid Certification.
Job‑Related Experience
At least six months of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
Preferable knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state‑specific) and prior medical office, healthcare, or customer service experience.
