
FSI Techno-Functional Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Analyst to guide our technology team in building a cutting-edge PnL, IP Valuation, Reconciliation, and Exception Adjustment tool.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial products, valuation methodologies, and basic accounting standards, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with technology teams to design, develop, and implement PnL, IPV, Recon, and Exception Adjustment tools. Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications. Guide development teams in understanding complex financial concepts for accurate implementation. Conduct analysis and validation of financial data to ensure tool reliability and accuracy. Provide insights on valuation methodologies and accounting standards to enhance tool effectiveness. Lead workshops and meetings to gather requirements and align on project goals. Identify and resolve discrepancies or exceptions in financial data. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve tool capabilities. Required Qualifications
Must work onsite at client location in Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ at least 3 days/week. Minimum 5 years of experience in a techno-functional role within financial services. Minimum 5 years of experience with financial products (derivatives, equities, fixed income, etc.). Minimum 5 years of experience with valuation methodologies and basic accounting standards. Proven experience guiding technology teams in developing financial tools or systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar analytical applications.
