The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for fabrication projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are considered for optimal budgeting and scheduling. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes and the ability to analyze project specifications effectively. Key Responsibilities
Review project specifications and blueprints to prepare estimates for fabrication projects. Conduct cost analysis and provide pricing for materials and labor required for projects. Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with project budgets and timelines. Communicate with clients to understand their specifications and requirements for fabrication. Utilize ERP software to manage estimates and track project costs efficiently. Prepare and present detailed estimates and proposals to clients and stakeholders. Monitor and adjust estimates as project scopes evolve to maintain budget adherence. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the estimating process. Qualifications
5+ years of fabrication estimating experience in the Petrochemical industry Strong understanding of ASME Code Vessels, Piping, and Skids Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications Skilled in Excel, Word, and ERP systems Knowledge of welding processes and NDE inspection Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills Team-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Benefits
