About the Role As a Make-Ready Technician, you transform recently vacated apartments into move‑in ready homes. You ensure every new resident’s first impression is a great one.
Responsibilities
Repair surfaces, replace fixtures, test appliances, change HVAC filters, touch up flooring and carpet, and apply fresh paint to get apartments sparkling clean.
Keep a safe work environment for both residents and your team, following all company and industry safety standards.
Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs and property upkeep whenever needed.
Interact with residents in a friendly, professional way when working on‑site.

What We're Looking For
At least 1 year of general maintenance, handyman, or make‑ready experience.
Detail‑oriented: notice the little things that make an apartment shine.
Reliable & responsible: show up on time, follow through on tasks, own your work.
Team player: willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
Valid driver’s license: for using company vehicles or picking up supplies off‑site.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in property management or hospitality.
Prior experience in general building maintenance or painting in a commercial, residential environment preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license to operate company‑owned vehicles or to utilize own vehicle for work.
Required Skills and Abilities
Treat residents with highest level of concern and care; demonstrate integrity, honesty, and ethics.
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality to ensure all essential duties are fulfilled.
Attention to detail to complete jobs in an exemplary manner and overlook hazards or warning signs.
Familiarity with a variety of tools and materials needed to maintain residential buildings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Respect and dignity, accept responsibility and take ownership of tasks, follow through on commitments, take initiative and maintain confidentiality.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; strong time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines.
Ability to function well in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements
Expected work hours: 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
Travel: Occasionally may need to drive a company‑owned or personal vehicle for business.
Work environment and physical demands:
Able to frequently lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Use hands to manipulate tools and objects; adequate vision; stamina and dexterity.
Move about the property standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; perform functions in various weather conditions and variable climates.
FLSA Status Nonexempt.
Holiday Pay Eligibility To be eligible for holiday pay, employees must have completed 90 days of employment and worked the last scheduled day before and the first day after the holiday.
Paid Sick Leave The company provides at least 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year in states with no state mandate.
