Make-Ready Technician – Turn Homes into Move-In Magic
Do you take pride in the details, love working with your hands, and enjoy making things look brand new? As a Make-Ready Technician, you’ll be the key player who transforms recently vacated apartments into move‑in ready homes. Your work ensures every new resident’s first impression is a great one.
What You’ll Be Doing
Repair surfaces, replace fixtures, test appliances, change HVAC filters, touch up flooring and carpet, and apply fresh paint to get apartments sparkling clean and move‑in ready.
Maintain a safe work environment for both residents and your team while following all company and industry safety standards.
Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs and property upkeep whenever needed.
Interact with residents in a friendly, professional way when you’re working on‑site.
What We Offer
Full‑Time Stability – Work Monday through Friday, with occasional on‑call hours for emergencies.

What We’re Looking For
At least 1 year of general maintenance, handyman, or make‑ready experience.
Detail‑oriented, noticing the little things that make an apartment shine for its next resident.
Reliable & Responsible – You show up on time, follow through on tasks, and own your work.
Team Player – You’re willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
Valid driver’s license for using company vehicles or picking up supplies off‑site.
Qualifications Required Skills and Abilities
Treats all current and future residents with the highest level of concern and care; demonstrates a natural disposition toward personal and public safety.
Able and willing to maintain regular attendance and punctuality to ensure all essential duties are fulfilled.
Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
Familiarity with a variety of tools and materials needed to maintain residential buildings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; strong time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines.
Ability to function well in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education And Experience
High school diploma or GED required, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in property management or hospitality.
Prior experience in general building maintenance or painting in a commercial or residential environment preferred, including general handyman work, light carpentry, electrical, or plumbing.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license to operate company‑owned vehicles or to utilize own vehicle for work.
Physical Requirements
Expected work hours: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
Travel: May occasionally need to drive a company‑owned or personal vehicle for business.
Work environment and physical demands:
Able to frequently lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Use of hands to manipulate tools and objects, adequate vision to do so safely; stamina and dexterity required.
Move about the property to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities, including standing for extended periods, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling in various weather conditions and climates.
