Position Summary The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for building rapport and trust with clients by delivering exceptional service consistently. CSRs accurately and timely input shipping and receiving data, process orders, and support efficient site operations.

Associates are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality and to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process and input all customer orders.

Run and print shipments from WMS.

Run stock reports to check product availability.

Generate paperwork and information for customer work orders.

Check orders for special requests.

Expedite orders, trace and notify customers of activity.

Follow up with other departments to meet service standards.

Verify invoicing and handle returned merchandise.

Customer Interfacing Activities

Maintain good relationships by responding to inquiries, complaints, invoicing, shipments, and inventory issues.

Act as liaison between warehouse, office, and customer regarding accounts and credit changes.

Documentation

Ensure accuracy of receiving and shipping documents.

Gather and maintain data and records related to shipping and receiving.

Match receiving counts to packing lists and purchase orders; match shipping counts to picking documents.

Prepare reports on customer service as required.

Assist in resolving discrepancies.

Data Entry

Operate computer terminal proficiently.

Enter and verify data regarding orders, shipments, receipts, inventories, adjustments accurately and promptly.

Clerical

Oversee paperwork and maintain files.

Answer phones and operate office machines.

Greet customers and visitors.

Correspond with customers as required.

Communication

Answer calls cheerfully, courteously, and promptly.

Route calls to proper parties and take messages.

Assist callers with general information and inquiries.

Direct visitors to appropriate departments.

Assist drivers at check‑in window throughout the day.

Other Duties (Site Specific)

May cross‑train in other administrative staff functions to support the site and associate development.

Work overtime as dictated by business needs (mandatory or voluntary).

Preferred Qualifications

1‑3 years warehouse/logistics support experience.

2‑3 years customer‑service experience.

Constantly: Walking and Standing.

Lift/Carry: 21‑50 pounds; Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.

Pay Range Base pay: $22 – $27 per hour (actual compensation based on experience, skills, education, location).
