General Job Description Deliver and receive product from outside services as required. Check incoming shipments for quantities delivered, count the number of packages or individual items, inspect for damages to the outer container, and note any irregularities on the carrier’s bill of lading. Move merchandise to specified areas, check all items for apparent damage, verify items against the manifest, and deliver paperwork to the proper office. Prepare product for shipping, including packaging of goods and loading of trucks or vans. Roughly 80% of deliveries will be in the local Rochester, NY area, while the other 20% will require over‑the‑road, long‑distance travel.
Requirements
Entry level, high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years or more experience.
CDL License – Class A.
