Responsibilities
Maintain and ensure readiness of all production tooling. Monitor and manage inventory levels of all tooling and related items to prevent shortages or production delays. Issue appropriate tooling to machine operators in a timely and efficient manner based on production needs. Coordinate the repair of damaged or worn tooling to ensure continuous operational effectiveness. Properly dispose of and replace tooling that is beyond repair, following company policies and safety protocols. Build and Preset Tooling for Setups Lead, Instruct, and Train Shift Tool Crib Attendants. Maintain a clean & organized Tool Crib. Order tooling and other supplies while controlling the Tooling Budget This position will report directly to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering or shift floor supervisor. Education
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent Experience
Experience:
CNC Machining / Cutting Tools / Purchasing / Supervision / Inventory Management Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities : Must have a general understanding of machine tooling and basic computer skills, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, Proficient with basic computer operations; experience using inventory and tooling management software preferred, Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Language
Language:
Preferred to be able to read and write in English. Must be able to communicate effectively with associates.
