Assistant Golf Professional

Overview This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their journey toward PGA membership and a successful career. Candidates should have the goal of becoming a Head Golf Professional, Director of Golf or General Manager in the coming years. This opportunity should be looked at as a paid internship during which you will be exposed to all facets of the operation in a very busy and well respected daily fee / resort operation. Individuals will be exposed to, scheduled in and expected to develop competency in all areas of the operation. Growth and promotion vary in time and responsibility based upon individual performance and contributions to the team. We operate in a busy, fast paced environment that is very team oriented and requires someone who is focused and committted to becoming the best golf professional they can be. Assistant professionals will have the opportunity to grow in responsibility and skill within our operation here at the Walt Disney World Resort, transfer to another course / club managed by Century Golf Partners or to create their own path forward. Our goal and desire is to coach, mentor and help develop the most educated, skilled and succesful golf professionals in our segment of the business.

Experience Required

Strong history playing the game of golf is a preference

Service and hospitality backrounds are also a preference
