Job Overview Mobile Associates are an integral part of the Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They create energy and excitement around our products and services, build and deepen relationships with customers, and achieve performance targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Job Responsibilities
Proactively engage a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment using digital tools and effective communication.
Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding, identifying customer needs and demonstrating the value of T‑Mobile products and services.
Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience and continuously improve skills to provide the best possible customer experience.
Build rapport, trust, and loyalty with every interaction, exceed customer expectations, and drive sales activity by following up, building referrals, and performing price overrides when necessary.
Collaborate with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set up to device support and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma/GED (Required)
At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Customer‑satisfaction focus and ability to balance experience and performance goals (Required)
Strong teamwork and willingness to collaborate with peers and leaders (Required)
Drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Travel No travel required.
DOT Regulated No.
Safety Sensitive Position No.
Compensation Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive training pay; upon completion, promotion to Mobile Expert and eligibility for an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year.
