Job Overview Mobile Associates are an integral part of the Retail Team, bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in a high‑traffic environment, and build and deepen relationships with customers through meaningful interactions.

Job Responsibilities

Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate customers and showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions.

Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process, identifying customer needs and using solution‑based selling techniques.

Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products and processes; review personal results, current promotions and updates on the Hub to remain customer‑ready.

Demonstrate passion, friendliness and engagement with customers; build rapport, trust and loyalty, and proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales activity.

Support the customer experience from account set‑up to device support and account servicing; collaborate with nearby leadership and teams.

Education and Work Experience

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Customer Satisfaction – Passionate customer advocate, balancing experience and performance goals (Required)

Team Building – Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing best practices (Required)

Retail Sales – Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

Minimum age 18 years old

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Upon completion, promotion to Mobile Expert is possible with an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. All employees are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. Job‑level stock grants are also available.
