Work Schedule Ally designates roles as full‑on‑site, hybrid, or fully remote. Hybrid roles may require office presence a certain number of days per week as indicated by the hiring manager. Work requirements may change at any time based on leadership discretion or business needs.

The Opportunity

Candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to Greater Fresno, Stockton, Sacramento or San Jose, CA and be prepared for local travel throughout the Northern California sales market. Company vehicle provided.

Partner with the Account Executive F&I and Ally field personnel to grow new accounts and retain and expand existing accounts.

Collaborate with other sales team members (account executives, specialists, national accounts team, and Ally field personnel) to prospect new accounts, manage the opportunity pipeline, and execute individual and team sales strategies.

Participate in competitor analysis, market analysis, product evaluation, product training, and periodic reporting of activities and results.

The Work Itself

Sell Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance products to target accounts; close sales by building rapport with key decision makers, explaining corporate programs and service capabilities, and overcoming objections.

Develop sales plans and manage resources to maximize return on expenditures.

Work collaboratively with the sales team to prospect and conquer new customers, manage the pipeline, and execute sales strategies.

Service current customers by maintaining rapport, conducting regular visits, evaluating needs for new opportunities, and securing contact lists.

Identify non‑P&C opportunities, coordinate with other Account Executives, and qualify prospects; maintain knowledge of competition and market threats.

Coordinate sales and servicing activities with National Accounts and other partners.

Develop new customers by identifying opportunities for product improvements and new products based on industry trends.

Provide product training to other team members as required.

Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of successful sales experience.

Insurance experience preferred.

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Ability to build business relationships with dealer principals and decision makers.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Sales training experience desired.

Strong business‑management, presentation and relationship‑selling skills.

High accountability and ability to prioritize tasks.

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities.

Ability to function in a matrix organization.

Dealership operations and insurance product knowledge preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Strong customer service skills.

Assist with local marketing campaigns.

Compensation Base Pay Range : $75,000 - $90,000 USD. Position within range depends on role scope, responsibilities, experience, education, certifications, training, and qualifications.

Incentive Compensation : Eligible for a variable incentive plan.
