At Henry Ford Home Infusion, our professional staff are dedicated to providing quality individualized home infusion and nutritional management services. Services are ordered by a physician and offer a safe and effective alternative to hospital treatment and allow patients to resume their normal work activities and lifestyle in a more timely manner.
Responsibilities
Intake of new referrals by phone, fax and/or computer.
Enter referral demographics into computer.
Coordinate insurance coverage with the Billing department.
Assist with coordination of care.
Routinely interact with physicians, nurses, case managers and the general public regarding the coordination of patients' transitions of care and ongoing home care.
Education
High school diploma or GED.
College level coursework in business preferred.
Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of intake, customer service or billing experience.
Home Health Care intake or billing experience preferred.
General knowledge of medical coding and medical terminology required.
Advanced computer knowledge, keyboard proficiency and Microsoft Office experience required.
