Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Office of Vice President, Gainesville Campus department on the Gainesville campus. Campuses and the regional campus team to plan and deliver community and campus programs and events. In addition to performing administrative and clerical duties, this position will engage with internal and external stakeholders to cultivate and build positive relationships. The position will report to the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Regional Campuses and will be based on the Gainesville Campus.
Responsibilities
Assisting the regional campus team with a high number of internal and external programs and events ranging from small meetings to large-scale conferences and projects.
Developing an understanding of the requirements for events and programs to effectively support the events/program manager with logistical and administrative tasks.
Work within financial and time constraints for each event and program.
Ad-hoc duties at events including, but not limited to guest list management and registration, simple AV support, etc.
Helping set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion.
Assisting faculty and staff to set up and manage their event in software systems utilized by the university.
Greet and respond to needs of individuals seeking assistance in the office.
May be asked to travel between campuses and off-campus locations on occasion.

Required Qualifications
Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
