A Brief Overview Assists in preparing underwriting models by collecting, analyzing, entering and verifying all property related information, current and historical operating statement and rent roll data, borrower financial and experience information, market, submarket and neighborhood characteristics and demographics, comparable rent, sales and capitalization rate information and any other relevant information. Assists home office Legal and Closing areas by collecting and reviewing all required closing documents, leases, survey, title policy, organization documents, borrower financials, estoppels and other applicable closing items. Assists Asset Management and Servicing areas with all post-closing servicing requests, collection efforts and other loan or property related items requiring information or follow up with the borrower.

Responsibilities

Collects and does preliminary analysis of all borrower, property and operating statement information. Performs preliminary market research using real estate subscription services and creates reports for review. Prepares initial underwriting models for review by more senior associates. Packages include borrower resume and financials, property operating history, rent roll, market rental and occupancy data, location information, building characteristics and demographic information.

Assists the home office closer in all aspects of the closing process by facilitating the timely delivery of all necessary borrower provided documentation, financials, operating statement information, and any other information required by the closer. Acts as a liaison between the borrower and all third-party report providers in gaining access to the property.

Assists the home office servicing manager with all payment, tax and insurance related issues. Assist the asset management group with all borrower requests including loan assumptions, assignments, escrow draws, partial releases, and tenant lease related activities by acting as the liaison between the borrower and Asset Manager. Assists home office management in all special servicing related matters in the event of a loan default.

Researches, reviews and analyzes market and submarket data and prepare periodic reports on both positive and negative trends.

Responsible for the collection of information to assist in portfolio surveillance, quality ratings, annual inspections. Information includes annual property rent rolls and operating statements, borrower financials and market related information and reports.

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, IT or related area of study

Preferred

Real Estate related software applications experience

Experience in working in an Insurance, banking or Financial Services company

Skills and Abilities Required

General understanding of basic financial concepts

Customer service oriented; responsive to requests from internal and external customers

Strong analytical and issues resolution skills

Work effectively in a team environment

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong time management skills as well as the ability to meet deadlines

Preferred

Knowledge of insurance company mortgage lending practices

Knowledge of mortgage loan valuation or software

Compensation Range $65,050.00 - $92,400.00 Annual

Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
