Homeless Outreach Specialist

Salary:
22.21-27.10
We are seeking someone who is energetic, engaging, and community‑oriented and is interested in working in the greater Manchester community, identifying individuals who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless, in need of mental health treatment, and providing them with short‑term counseling, case management, and referral services.
$5,000 sign‑on bonus for all full‑time clinical positions.
Responsibilities
Identify individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Provide short‑term counseling and case management.
Refer individuals to mental health services.
Conduct outreach to shelters, encampments, community services, and other locations where homeless individuals may be located.
Engage and partner with various community service agencies for the benefit of those experiencing homelessness.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, rehab counseling, or education/counseling from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with persons receiving mental health services.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile with liability insurance required by agency policy.
Skills: Commitment to teamwork, independent self‑starter, time management and organizational skills, excellent communication with co‑workers, staff, clients, and community partners.
