SUPERICA SOUS CHEF – UP TO $70K/yr. + BONUS (Gulch)
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join Superica Nashville, an Old-West inspired, relaxed yet upbeat Mexican cuisine restaurant. The Sous Chef manages the hourly back‑of‑house staff and assists in the day‑to‑day operations of all kitchen areas including production, prep, stewarding, purchasing, and receiving.
Responsibilities
Train line cooks to create all menu items following established recipes to ensure consistency of presentation and flavor.
Lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef, thinking positively and proactively to handle obstacles and solve issues.
Maintain a cohesive team, motivate and inspire staff, and work calmly under pressure.
Qualifications
3+ years of progressive culinary experience, with at least one year in a Lead Cook or Sous Chef position.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain team motivation.
Ability to work calmly under pressure and handle kitchen operations effectively.
Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary: $55,000 – $70,000/yr. DOE + generous quarterly bonus program.
