Position Summary It is a great time to join the beauty retail division of CVS Health, America’s leading retail pharmacy with more than 8,000 stores. We are seeking a talented, sales‑oriented, Licensed Beauty Sales Consultant who is passionate about the beauty industry and believes the customer experience should be top‑notch. You will lead the end‑to‑end beauty experience, share the latest trends, and provide paid beauty services and personalized product advice.

Customer Sales Experience

Seek out customers to provide a world‑class beauty advisor experience.

Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs, productive upselling and suggestive selling.

Use verbal skills to generate sales and stimulate thoughtful conversation.

Serve as the brand expert, answering detailed product questions to maximize sales baskets.

Engage all customers with CVS services, Beauty Club programs, and current promotions, closing the sale of products and services.

Performing Services

Represent both CVS and partner brands, upholding the highest service standards.

Provide ear‑piercing services in all stores and other applicable services as required.

Pass proficiency assessments before performing any services in store.

Educate customers on product usage and benefits to drive purchase conversion.

Manage time effectively between consultations, scheduled services, and walk‑in clients.

Display a current Cosmetology/Esthetician license during all working hours at all locations.

Operational

Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials.

Participate in and represent CVS at sales programs and events.

Maintain a clean, well‑stocked, and hygienic zone for a positive shopping experience.

Execute all sanitation and hazardous waste disposal policies promptly.

Complete ongoing sales, brand, and paid service training with CVS and partners.

Maintain professional colleague appearance per company policies.

Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques.

Required Qualifications

Current and valid Cosmetology/Esthetician license in the state of employment.

Maintain an active license at all times and display it during working hours.

Perform ear‑piercing services in all stores and other applicable services.

Pass all required skills assessments and training courses for paid services.

Use sales data with product/brand knowledge to meet sales and beauty service goals.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Goal‑driven, multi‑tasking ability.

Work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak hours.

Must be at least 18 years old.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior beauty sales experience with a passion for beauty.

Physical Requirements

Stand for extended periods and move throughout the store.

Stoop, kneel or crouch, and reach or grasp objects, including lower shelves.

Perform duties requiring manual dexterity (hair styling, makeup applications, ear piercing).

Meet physical abilities required for the qualifications above.

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but Not Required).

Hours and Type Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40 Time Type: Full time

Pay Range Typical Pay Range: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour (Base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary). Salary offers consider experience, education, geography, and other factors.
