Job Summary As Sous Chef, you will supervise kitchen staff, prepare menu items, manage cost controls, plan menus, and produce catering events. You will assist Executive Chef in developing new culinary programs and ordering ingredients.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures.
Assist Executive Chef with planning and creating menus.
Produce and execute catering events.
Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
A.S. or equivalent experience.
Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
Catering experience a plus.
High‑volume, complex food‑service operations experience.
Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful.
Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
Must be experienced with computers (Microsoft Office, Outlook, E‑mail).
Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities.
ServSafe certified – highly desirable.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $65,000 – $70,000.
