What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize sales opportunities within the assigned territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and drive incremental revenue
Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations
Effectively manage territory activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and sales forecasting
Stay informed about industry trends and gather customer feedback to inform sales strategies
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and telephone skills
Proficiency with MS Office software, SalesForce/CRM technology, and telecommuting software such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams

Experience in the educational publishing or book distribution industry
Proven track record of success in revenue growth and customer relationship management
Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
