About The Role Responsible for a specific geographic territory, the role promotes and grows Neurocrine products by building and maintaining long‑term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts. The role also educates external customers such as physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and case managers on the benefits of our products.
Your Contributions
Sales and Market Development
Drive product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management
Execute territory sales strategies to meet or exceed objectives via in‑person and virtual communications
Identify and address territory‑specific opportunities and barriers to product success
Effectively manage promotional resources and budget
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including:
Healthcare providers (Psychiatrists, Neurologists, NPs, PAs)
Clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs)
Key opinion leaders and advocacy groups
Community mental health clinics and long‑term care facilities
Local/regional payers and pharmacies
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Establish excellent communication with internal partners including managed care, marketing, patient access, medical science liaisons, and medical communications teams
Professional Standards
Uphold highest ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and pharmaceutical industry best practices
Demonstrate integrity and model behaviors consistent with company values and compliance policies
Work Expectations
Maintain full field presence Monday‑Friday with flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
BS/BA in science or related field + ≥4 years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, psychology, or neurology sales (highly desired). Close‑door or specialty pharmacy distribution experience strongly preferred. Psychiatry, neurology or antipsychotic experience strongly preferred.
Master’s in science or related field + ≥2 years of similar experience.

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $123,100.00–$168,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s quarterly incentive compensation plan and in our equity‑based long‑term incentive program.
Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits (medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage) in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
