What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory
Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with prospective customers
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive incremental revenue
Manage territory activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and sales forecasting
Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of two (2) years of proven sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM technology
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in educational publishing or related industry
Familiarity with SalesForce/CRM technology
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams
Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction
