As a Line Cook for the AM shift, you will play a crucial role in crafting delicious breakfast and lunch dishes that meet our high standards for quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring timeliness and attention to detail.
Follow food safety regulations and protocols consistently.
Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth service flow during breakfast and lunch hours.
Participate in the receiving, inventory, and proper storage of products.
Adapt to special dietary needs as required, without compromising flavor or quality.
Continuously strive to learn and apply culinary techniques to enhance menu offerings.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a culinary environment.
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene.
Culinary school training preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Capability to work in a fast-paced setting and maintain composure under pressure.
