Objective This role serves as the company expert for hydro‑excavating and sewer jetting products, supporting sales, troubleshooting customer issues, and acting as a liaison with OEM partners.

Responsibilities

Act as technical and operational expert, training both internal product support and sales representatives on hydro‑excavating and jetting equipment.

Serve as first line of contact for customer applications or technical issues, troubleshooting and coordinating with service contractors as needed.

Deliver new equipment, train customer crews, mechanics on best practices, operation, and maintenance.

Liaise between MacAllister and OEMs, working toward mutually beneficial outcomes.

Drive sales and support success for new, used, and rental hydro‑excavating and jetting products.

Contribute to strategic planning for product support, understanding customer needs and coordinating with sales and service teams.

Represent MacAllister in relevant industry associations.

Qualifications

Post‑secondary education, technical associate degree or relevant certification.

Mechanical aptitude and detailed knowledge of hydro‑excavating and jetting products.

Ability to operate machines, troubleshoot, identify and resolve technical problems.

Minimum five years of industry experience; sales experience a plus.

Willingness to travel and work long hours when required.

Self‑starter capable of working independently with urgency.

Strong verbal, non‑verbal, written, and listening communication skills.

Team‑player with strong customer‑service orientation.

Understanding of price, quality and turnaround principles.

Ability to discuss total cost of ownership, productivity, and uptime at multiple customer levels.
