Maintenance Assistant
Immanuel Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to work at The Landing located at 3500 Faulkner Drive, Lincoln, NE 68516. The Landing has 90 independent living, 34 assisted living and 14 memory support apartment homes.
Job Duties & Skills Required
Ensures building and equipment are in working order by performing preventative maintenance and repairing damage.
Completes in a timely fashion.
Conducts general carpenter work using common hand and power tools.
Diagnoses mechanical problems.
Assembles structures such as furniture or pipe systems.
Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts.
Cleans and lubricates equipment.
Paints and patches walls, equipment, and structures.
Assembles, installs, and repairs electrical wiring.
Skills & Requirements
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Trade or Vocational Schooling is preferred.
Equivalent years of work may substitute for education requirement.
One (1) year of facilities maintenance or related experience is required.
Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
