Job Description – Community Association Attorney

We are seeking experienced attorneys to provide personalized legal representation to condominium, HOA, and master/country club communities of all sizes throughout South Florida. The role emphasizes proactive counsel, practical risk management, and responsive day-to-day guidance, delivered with the firm’s hallmark of accessibility and continuity. Key Responsibilities

Serve as general counsel to boards and managers on operational, governance, and compliance matters. Interpret, draft, and update governing documents (declarations, bylaws, rules, policies), advising on amendments and risk mitigation. Advise on covenant and rule enforcement, compliance, and owner-facing dispute resolution. Draft, review, and negotiate vendor/contractor agreements, providing practical risk guidance. Manage or support litigation, mediation, and contested matters, including enforcement and collections disputes. Provide timely guidance on statutory/regulatory compliance, including fair housing and age-restricted community considerations. Communicate efficiently with clients through firm tools, technology platforms, and educational resources. Highly responsive, organized, and client-focused communicator. Build long-term client relationships through consistency and continuity. Comfortable providing practical, real-world legal advice with clear risk tradeoffs. Legal Expertise Required

Strong knowledge of Florida condominium/HOA governance, document interpretation, and association operations. Drafting expertise for amendments, enforcement letters, policies, rules, and contracts. Familiarity with collections enforcement workflows and client reporting expectations. Sound judgment in dispute resolution, escalation, and litigation oversight. Proficient in firm technology and collections systems, with the ability to help clients leverage these tools effectively. Minimum Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school. Active, in‑good‑standing member of The Florida Bar. Demonstrated experience representing condominium associations or HOAs, including general counsel, enforcement, collections, document drafting, and dispute resolution.
