Job Title: Community Association Attorney We are an executive search firm retained by an established and well-respected boutique law firm based in Palm Beach County to assist in their search for a talented Community Association Attorney. This firm has built a strong reputation for providing top-tier legal services in the areas of real estate and community association law, and they are seeking a skilled attorney to join their team. This is an on-site position only.

Qualifications

Active license to practice law in Florida, in good standing

Minimum of 2 years of experience in community association law

Strong expertise in interpreting governing documents, providing governance advice, preparing amendments, and addressing fair housing issues

In-depth knowledge of community association law, real estate law, and related fields

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines effectively

Experience in delivering specialized training to board directors, committees, and managers

Responsibilities

Handle complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, purchases, financing, and leasing

Assist in forming, registering, governing, and ensuring compliance for residential, commercial, and mixed-use condominium associations

Provide expert guidance on community association law, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and successful project completions

Represent developers, lenders, landlords, and community associations in a variety of legal matters

Review, analyze, negotiate, and draft legal documents, including agreements, deeds, loan documents, leases, declarations, and covenants

Manage and coordinate all aspects of transactions, ensuring timely closings and project milestones are met

Provide guidance on interpreting governing documents, governance issues, and fair housing compliance

Conduct training sessions for boards of directors, committees, and community managers

Participate actively in community association and industry organizations

Contribute articles to industry publications and engage in relevant chapter events

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Strong knowledge and experience in community association law and real estate
