Work Hours Schedule:
PRN (as needed), rotating shifts within the admitting department.

Qualifications – Here’s What You Need
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
Experience:
1 Year relevant customer service experience required; 2 Years professional office/healthcare experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
CHAA – Certified Healthcare Access Associate (preferred upon hire).
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (maintained annually; 90 days required).
Skills:
Ability to assess requests quickly using electronic and paper resources; excellent data entry, numeric, typing and computer navigation skills with attention to detail; proficiency in medical terminology, Epic, Microsoft Office and assorted software; strong analytical, communication, telephone etiquette; high level of empathy and professionalism in stressful and emotional environments.
What You Will Do As a compassionate member of the care team, you will welcome patients and families, ensuring they feel at ease. You will accurately gather demographic information to maintain electronic health record integrity, identify correct network coverage, validate benefits and pre‑certification, and educate patients on legal, ethical, and compliance documents. You will engage patients on financial obligations, prepare accurate estimates for co‑payments, self‑pay deposits, and patient balances, and complete required payor and government elements.
Maintain up‑to‑date compliance with regulations and operating systems, meet customer service and productivity guidelines, mentor peers, adapt to change, participate in staff meetings, process improvement projects, and complete other duties as assigned. Keep daily Epic queue and Employee Scorecard Dashboard updated.
